Team
A team of attorneys and technologists who understand both worlds.
Why we exist
OKLegal was born out of a conversation between Carlos and Laura in 2021. Carlos had just left his 20-attorney firm with a list of 40 problems that no legal software had solved for the Latin American market. Laura came from building fintech products and knew the technology to fix them already existed.
What was missing was a team with enough understanding of local legal practice to build the right solution. That is what we are.

How we work
Every OKLegal feature was born from conversations with attorneys. Before designing anything, we understand the real problem.
We prefer shipping fewer features and doing them well. A low-quality document at a law firm is simply not an option.
Your clients' data is privileged by nature. We build on encryption, audit trails, and access controls at the architecture level, not as an afterthought.
We don't translate foreign software. We build for Latin American civil procedure, Costa Rica's Digital Signature, legal Spanish, and the operational realities of the region.
We are looking for people passionate about solving real problems in Latin American legal practice. If you understand both law and technology — or want to learn the other side — let's talk.
